Maybe you have been inspired by your own practice on the mat, by the teachings of another, or you innately know that it is time to start something new or expand on the knowledge you have already. Whatever your motivation, our yoga teacher training & certification program provides the education and understanding you need to deepen your own practice and from that base, teach others with grace and ease. Deeply rooted in contemporary anatomical science, classical yoga history & philosophy, you will be guided to find your own unique way of confidently sharing this wisdom with others. Facilitated by experienced faculty, the training is recognized by The Canadian Yoga Alliance (thus ensuring that all participants will be able to secure liability insurance upon successful completion of the course). This 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program is based on a multidisciplinary approach with a focus on Hatha and/or Vinyasa asana practice. The course is deeply rooted in classical Eastern philosophy while integrating mindful anatomical connections to ensure that graduates are confident, competent and personally invested in their own learning. This comprehensive approach blends movement, lectures, group study, self-development and practical application to ensure that participants deepen their own practice while preparing to lead others. It is our belief that all levels of practitioners will benefit from our Teacher Training. Our program is designed to take you on a journey of self-exploration as well as yoga instruction. The schedule provides flexibility for those pursuing their certification part-time.
